Bartlemy 6k fun run attracts almost 400 participants...

There was a 6k fun run/walk held in Bartlemy in NE Cork last Sunday the 21st of June with the aim of raising funds to send 15 year old Sinead Kearney to the USA for treatment for Lyme Disease. Almost 400 people took part in this event.

From the organisers......The committee for the Sinead Kearney Lyme Treatment Fund and Bartlemy Community would like to thank everyone who participated in the Fun Run/walk last Sunday morning and supported this worthy cause.
It was a successful event with great funds raised and a great turnout of 397 participants, there was a lovely buzz in the village as everyone enjoyed the sunshine and refreshment afterwards.
Also,  a big Thank you to Max Fitness & sports Therapy who sponsored the race, Fermoy Print who organised the design & print of Flyers/posters etc, Jim Bob who completed the walk in crutches & raised substantial amount for the fund & everyone who donated spot prizes.
