At the recent Austin Marathon, there was a dramatic end to the womens race when the front runner Hyvon Ngetich from Kenya hit the 'marathon wall' with just a few kms to go. At the very end, she was reduced to crawling over the finish line for a time of 3:04:02. In a post race interview, she said that she has no memory of the last few kms.
