Ballycotton Summer Series starts on Thursday, the 22nd of May...The very popular Ballycotton Series of 5 mile road races kicks off next Thursday evening in the sleepy hamlet of Ballyandreen in East Cork. This will be the 1st of the 4 races in the series, with each race taking place on the 4th Thursday of the months of May, June, July and August. Each race usually attracts a large entry of between 200 and 300 runners. There are a wide variety of prizes on offer in each race with the much sought special T-shirts for the top 50 men and top 15 women in the overall series.
